Our Sweet Mayberry Dream
`For over 30 years, our family has vacationed at Holden Beach, NC. One summer we tried Sunset Slush Italian Ice at Holden Beach — and we were hooked. We had never tasted anything like it.
It became our tradition. Our parents love it. My brother, his wife, and their girls love it. Our twins (who are now 30) and their husbands are fans too. Every trip, we’d all say the same thing: “Wouldn’t it be amazing to have this in Mt. Airy?”
So we finally decided to go for it.
Sunset Slush of Mayberry is our dream of bringing that beach-day happiness back home. We want to serve Italian ice, carry fun gifts and handmade journals, and create a place where local families and visitors can slow down, smile, and make a little memory.
